Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her roles as a lead actress in countless television series, however, she also has impressive roles on film. The popularity of her is shared by both Canadian as well as American television. Emily started acting when she was 12 when she was visiting her sister Katie in one of Katie's movies. Emily began attending classes in acting, and then auditioning following realizing she had a passion for acting. After a few successful commercials she was soon cast in the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You afraid of the Dark? In one single scene she was not even speaking any words. The actress got her first big break at the age of 15 when she was cast as a regular on Glory Days, a WB show Glory Days. Emily's talents was noticed by Greg Berlanti after the show was cancelled after only nine episodes. The show's creator cast Emily for Everwood the new television show. Emily is also a professional dancer also a photographer, and was named as one of Teen's top 20 actors. She was ranked number 51 on the Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
