Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was fourteen years old. Aspen Ladd started training in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and then went on to a three-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round of all fights. Then, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen by unanimous decision. The loss put a mark on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta 16, she was able to move up to Bantamweight after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestler skills to knock down McGill and ended her fight via third-round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd did not make an appearance at the. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy by using TKO. As for her final fight for this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with her ground and pound tactics which resulted in the TKO second round victory. She maintained her dominance as she picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round.
